She starts with her arms and legs through exercises like elevator lunges and cheerleader arms circle, and then proceeds to work on her core.
Sigourney Weaver is best known for starring in the Alien films, and uses Pilates to strengthen her core and as well as other muscles. Celebrity Fitness Training specified that the actress regularly took Pilates sessions during shoots for the Alien movies as her role dictated that she carry heavy guns and other equipment. Aside from enhancing muscle strength, Pilates helped improve her joint mobility and even added an inch to her height due to improved posture and lean muscle development.
As a result, she was able to handle the rigors of the action role, and her character Ellen Ripley helped the first Alien films achieve pop culture status.
