Pilatesology Ten Minutes of Magic (Circle) Workout

Alisa offers another action-packed quick workout, this time using the Magic Circle. There’s no waiting for explanations in this session, you’ll simply learn by moving with Alisa’s simple, direct cues. Pilatesology Intermediate Pilates Mat Workout

This classical Pilates mat session gets right down to business so you can give your body what it needs and be on your way. Alisa mixes in a few exercises from Romana’s ‘Reformer on the Mat’ and gives some fresh variations on the old standards. If you think of your body like a fountain, Pilates is the pump that keeps your fluids moving, fresh and vital—it doesn’t have to take a long time to get the job done, you just have to do it regularly.

Practicing the entire mat with one repetition for each exercise builds memory in your muscles and your mind. With only one chance to get it right, you have to concentrate and work hard. Here, Alisa teaches with flow (but not too fast) so that you can learn to move efficiently—the rhythm of the work is as important as doing it with precision. The Intermediate mat gives the body all you need without placing the weight of the body on the delicate neck area or twisting at-risk joints like knees and hips. It’s a perfect workout for anyone in a time crunch or simply looking to feel fantastic.

I love Pilates! It brought my health back. I have been practising Pilates for more than 17 years now and have been a certified Peak Pilates trainer for the past 11 years.
I have never felt so fit, vibrant, energetic, supple and strong in my whole life. And I have no more pain. I do a Pilates workout 5 times per week on mat and apparatus. Every week I attend the classes (private and group) from my mentor and my trainer, Javier Velazquez. He is the best Pilates trainer in the world. Yes, I am very blessed that this extremely talented and experienced teacher is my trainer. Although I am Peak Pilates educated, I adore his very pure, original Joe sessions.
I have an open mind and I give a platform to Pilates trainers from all backgrounds, because we all do a great job! I do this for free in my spare time (which I hardly have).
I run a busy, fully equipped Pilates Studio Pilates Studio van Sonsbeek in the Netherlands in the middle of the historic center of the town Zoetermeer. I love my work, my lovely clients and my beautiful studio. So much fun and positive energy. I teach 6 days a week an average of 30 sessions; privates, duo's, trio's and groups.
