1st of all, this is great…Now I’ll tell you why, then I’ll show you pictures of what I mean and then I’ll put it all in video’s that make it impossible not to get the message. This is exactly what she has done. Her message is clear, and concise, then in case you have any questions about form, there are pics of her doing it, then there are videos of Lynda doing the Pilates mat workouts. The videos are about 30 min in length, warm you up, work you out, and cool you down.
The workouts are 1st put into a list, then come the pics of each exercise, the videos show the whole thing put together in a flow. There are 9 videos detailing everything including:
- Causes Of back Pain,
- Pelvic Stability,
- Modifications and variations,
- Pre-Pilates Fundamentals For Lower Back Pain,
- Pre-Pilates Fundamentals,
- Beginner Pilates Mat,
- Standing Footwork,
- Wall,
- Beginner/Intermediate Mat,
- Intermediate Pilates Mat,
- Work on All 4’s,
- Advanced Mat plus,
- Reformer On The Mat
The accompanying manual is 108 pages with great, clear, easy to decipher pics of every type of back and neck pain. Enough anatomy so you understand exactly (without it being overly medical) explanations of how to find ease and pain free movement with proper stabilization. Lynda explains placement so well and in such few words, that you aren’t inundated with a million analogies that can be overwhelming.
She’s likable, because she isn’t show-offy, she’s human and understanding of what pain feels like, and can definitely show you how to get out of pain, perform the whole classical Pilates repertoire if it’s in your personal ability and best interest (she explains who it is and isn’t for), and if the whole shebang isn’t for you, there is still LOTS to choose from. You will feel better, you will have a greater understanding of what habits brought you into pain, and how to relieve yourself from the agony. This is the FULL classical repertoire with attention paid to variations that make the advanced work achievable for most people.
This is so easy to follow and understand, that it as good for the Pilates professional with clients they are stymied by, as well as the layman who just wants to feel better, understand why they hurt, and still want to get a workout. Living life on the couch (or Lazy Boy chair) isn’t good for anyone, so get this eCourse, get moving and feel better.
